It’s been said the best products sell themselves. When they don’t, companies turn to Jill. With nearly three decades of marketing expertise, Jill brings a distinct professional perspective: a powerful cocktail that is part entrepreneur, part business owner and part media expert and publisher.
It shakes out to a professional background that spans traditional advertising, digital marketing, public relations, event management and social media. Over the years, Jill has worked with a broad range of clients, from hungry startups to multinational companies, serving the consumer, business-to-business and nonprofit sectors.
Yet it’s Jill’s personal traits that define her as an executive. Her contagious energy, tenacity and readiness to get her hands dirty infuse each endeavor she undertakes. Combined with her extensive industry knowledge, these qualities enable Jill to excel at developing strategies that profitably guide desired customer behavior, garner media coverage and help clients become respected thought leaders.
As a recognized expert on public relations and marketing, Jill often takes the podium to share her expertise, presenting to the PRSA, Bizwomen Cabinet and Ignite Cincinnati. She has developed and teaches multiple courses for the Cincinnati Business Courier on public relations, interviewing techniques and crisis management. She’s been quoted in dozens of media outlets including The New York Times, The Huffington Post, American Express Open and The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Jill founded Forza Marketing in 1996 and managed its steady growth until its acquisition by Northlich in July 2016. She spent much of her early career in the field of loyalty marketing as both a strategist and practitioner. This led her to manage the production of the best-selling book “The Loyalty Leap” in 2012 and to her current role as associate publisher of COLLOQUY, a global trade publication that focuses on loyalty programs, analytics and customer experience strategies.
Under Jill’s direction, Forza Marketing was recognized by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber as a 2015 Business of the Year (six to 20 employees). Jill was a 2015 finalist for Woman-Owned Business of the Year and honored as a Business WE Watch in 2013.
As a believer that companies “do well when they do good,” Jill volunteers her time and talents to support OurJewishCommunity.org, Impact 100 and several other nonprofits. She is also a former board member of Hope Springs Institute, AAF Cincinnati and Congregation Beth Adam. Her proudest accomplishments, however, are her two grown sons. A popular culture enthusiast and a cinephile, Jill can be reliably counted on to provide reviews of the latest books and films. When she’s not working, Jill can be found strolling local farmers’ markets or playing with her dog, Maude.
