Kerry Broderick

VP/Group Creative Director

Kerry has come a long way since her first job as an order girl and cake/cookie decorator at Virginia Bakery. As a group creative director at Northlich, Kerry enjoys bringing brands and ideas to life. She believes the foundation of a great idea is a powerful insight and challenges her team to dig into those insights to deliver relevant and arresting work. She currently leads creative exploration for The Joanie Bernard Foundation and Ten, a movement to build awareness around and eliminate the practice of killing cats in shelters. In addition, Kerry is the creative lead for Vantiv and many of our hospital clients, including St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Schneck Medical Center. She has also led work for Dannon Danimals, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, healthy-living brands such as CareSource and WeTHRIVE!, and digital agency-of-record work for American Greetings and White Castle.

Kerry finds inspiration in getting out of her comfort zone, whether that involves buying a new vegan cookbook or trying Kundalini yoga in a random L.A. studio. Her favorite part of working in advertising is seeing ideas come to life like magic (with hard work, late hours and some stress, but magic nonetheless!). Prior to joining Northlich, Kerry led the Abbott Nutrition creative team at POSSIBLE (formerly Bridge Worldwide), where she directed the creative development of digital marketing for Folgers, Pringles, Bounty, Luvs and other consumer brands. Kerry has also led large CRM initiatives, including the Similac relaunch, the large-scale rollout of Home Made Simple, and P&G brandSAVER, in addition to programs for diabetes care and the nutritional management of health conditions. Kerry holds a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Cincinnati and she serves on the board of the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati.

Outside of work, Kerry likes to read and (attempt to) do yoga, as well as cook, garden, drink wine, moon over vacation destinations and hope for a winning Reds season. You can hear Kerry discuss the joys of teaming with great art directors and talented copywriters in her interview with Jordan Brady on his Respect the Process podcast
