Goal of the study is to find ways to boost awareness of Ohio wines and visitation of state wineries
CINCINNATI (October 20, 2015) — Northlich, along with partner agency Blackboard Marketing, has been chosen by the Ohio Department of Agriculture to conduct research for Ohio Grape Industries in an effort to better understand how consumers feel about Ohio wines and wineries.
“We’re very proud to have been selected as the research agency for Ohio Grape Industries. We have an extensive track record of working with the state of Ohio, and this adds to that portfolio,” said Kathy Selker, Northlich president and CEO. “Ohio is an underrated state when it comes to wine, and I’m happy we were picked as the agency to help Ohio Grape Industries reach its full potential.”
Over the next few months, Northlich will conduct extensive research for Ohio Grape Industries including focus-group studies and surveys. The goal is to understand how consumers feel about the state’s wineries and the wine produced in Ohio. The Buckeye State is one of the top 10 wine-producing states in the country, with more than 1.1 million gallons produced every year.
“Northlich has been a great partner through the process of securing this account, and I know that together we’ll be able to do great things for Ohio Grape Industries,” said Clyde Gray, Blackboard Marketing CEO. “As a long-time television news journalist, I understand what motivates people. That experience will serve our client well as we work to uncover consumers’ perceptions about Ohio wine.”
